Preparing for Summer Fly-In Adventures



Summer time is approaching at a zooming speed and the museum staff is preparing to participate in a handful of Fly-Ins across the country with our unique collection of beautifully restored aircraft.

The team will be attending a total of five Fly-Ins between the months of July and September and will be flying a carefully selected group of planes to each event.

Selected for this year include: the Piper PA-16 Clipper, Ryan STA Special, GeeBee Model E Sportster, Fairchild F24G, Piper Vagabond PA-15, Piper Colt PA-22-108, and last but not least, the on loan Lockheed Electra 12A.


Event Flying Schedule:

July 9-11 – Arlington Fly-In at the Arlington Municipal Airport in Arlington, WA

Flying the Piper PA-16 Clipper & Ryan STA Special

July 24-25 – North Cascades Vintage Fly-In at the 3W5 ​ in Concrete, WA

Flying the Piper PA-16 Clipper & Ryan STA Special ​

Aug. 15 – Pacific Aviation Museum Trustees visit  ​to ​ North Cascades Vintage Aircraft Museum in Concrete, WA

Flying the Piper PA-16 Clipper, GeeBee Model E Sportster & Fairchild F24G ​

Aug.  ​1​5Spencer Fly-In at the KPLU​ in Puyallup, WA

Flying the Piper PA-16 Clipper & Piper Vagabond PA-15

Sept. 12-13 – Hood River​ Fly-In at the Western Antique Aeroplane & Automobile Museum at the 4S2 in Hood River, OR

Flying the Piper Colt PA-22-108 or the Piper PA-16 Clipper & will be accompanied by Pat in the Lockheed Electra 12A
