Vintage Aircraft Gather in Concrete, WA for Annual Fly-In

Got it? Great. Those are the days when we will host the premiere Fly-In in the Northwest.

Each year we have pilots and their friends and family fly-in from around the region and beyond for this fun annual event. We have awards in various categories for the vintage aircraft, live music, an incredible variety of food trucks and fare – all making for a great time as you wander around the airport to see these amazing aircraft.  And in case you didn’t know, we even have aviation fuel available at a discounted price for the Fly-In!

People raved about last year’s gathering which featured a swing band, a movie and camping near the airfield.  If you haven’t attended in awhile we’d love to have you back. Some new things that we are planning for this year’s Fly-In include:

  • A spaghetti dinner and a movie (featuring vintage aircraft, of course)
  • We’re considering a Beer Garden!
  • While we will still have camping sites near the airfield available all weekend, as camping at the Fly-In is a favorite with attendees, we hope to have area Bed & Breakfast inns, motels and other lodging with transportation coordinated too, for those not wanting to “rough it in under the stars!”

We will post updates on our website and on our Facebook page as they become available. For those new to the Fly-In at Concrete, (or those who want to reminisce) here is a video of last year’s gathering.
