The North Cascades Vintage Aircraft Museum currently operates out of five hangars at the Concrete Airport.
There are two main display hangars where several of our aircraft are on display as well as numerous model aircraft and aviation memorabilia. We also have a small library located in the main display hangar where visitors can relax in the company of a Ryan STA-Special or a Piper Tri-Pacer that looks better than it did the day it first lifted off the pavement in Lock Haven.
Our restoration hangar is where much of the work is done. Currently it houses our latest projects including a Stinson SM-8A and our Stinson Reliant SR-9C
Several aircraft including our Luscombe, Piper J-5 and Aeronca Champ currently reside in the storage hangar awaiting some polish and their turn in the display hangars. We have a lot of projects waiting in the wings, but they are also on display for people to look at. It gives the public a really good view of what the airplanes look like before restoration begins.
