The North Cascades Vintage Aircraft Museum currently operates out of five hangars at the Concrete Airport.
There are two main display hangars where several of our aircraft are on display as well as numerous model aircraft and aviation memorabilia. We also have a small library located in the main display hangar where visitors can relax in the company of a Ryan STA-Special or a Piper Pacer that looks better than it did the day it first lifted off the pavement in Lock Haven.
Our restoration hangar is where much of the work is done. Currently it houses our latest projects including a Waco QCF-2 and a Stinson SR-9C.
Several aircraft including our CallAir, Piper J-5 and Aeronca Champ currently reside in the storage hangar awaiting some polish and their turn in the display hangars. The storage hangar also houses our paint booth as well as numerous fuselages and wings hoping to make it on the restoration list soon.
Our smallest hangar rarely gets many visitors, but inside sits our Grumman Widgeon. A Navy original, our Widgeon still has several very original parts and is awaiting restoration.
